| Description | Omaveloxolone is a semi-synthetic triterpenoid drug. It is an Nrf2 activator that is approved for the treatment of Friedreich's ataxia in adults and adolescents aged 16 years and older. It has a role as an antioxidant, an anti-inflammatory agent, a cardioprotective agent and an antineoplastic agent.
